Bio:
Writer and sound artist born in Mexico City in 1975.
She studied a BA in Psychology and a MBA in Visual Arts.
Her children’s novel "Las sirenas sueñan con trilobites" (Mermaids dream with trilobites) won in 2011 the award Premio Barco de Vapor given by SM Foundation and Conaculta (Mexican Council of Arts). Her poetry book "Haiku: Todo cabe en un poema si lo sabes acomodar" was selected for the National Library Program of the Education Ministry in Chile as well as the Lecture Room Program of Conaculta in Mexico. She has collaborated in two teenage magazines of Editorial Televisa for more than nine years. Currently, she also works as screenwriter at Television Azteca. On 2012 she published "Querido Marciano" (Dear Martian) an album about the arrival of a new sibling.
On the other hand, her soundscapes had been selected, among others, for the 5th FKL Symposium in Italy, the 2011 WFAE International Conference in Greece, The Border Project exhibition at the University of Arizona Museum of Art and the 2012 Soundasaurus Festival at the EPCOR Centre for Performing Arts in Calgary.
