Bio:

I have been a freelance writer for over twelve years. I am the author of the middle-grade historical fiction novel, FINDING MY PLACE (White Mane Kids), and I have two picture books under contract with Guardian Angel Publishing and High Hill Press. I work as a columnist, contributing editor, and instructor for WOW! Women On Writing (www.wow-womenonwriting.com), where I teach an on-line class about writing for children's magazines and writing middle-grade novels. I also write weekly book reviews and feature articles for The News-Gazette (a Champaign-Urbana, IL newspaper). My passion is using children's books in the classroom and at home to teach skills and start discussions, and I follow this passion with my blog--"Margo Dill's Read These Books and Use Them" (http://margodill.com/blog/). I also have my own freelance editing business called Editor 911.
