Bio:
Creating children's books is my passion. I am an award-winning author/illustrator with fifteen books to my credit, including two bilingual titles, three parent-aide titles, and several downright fun ones too. I love to give back to the community that supports me. As the Illustrator Coordinator for SCBWI Southern Breeze, I have established gallery shows, our annual Illustrators' Day, and was awarded the 2009 SCBWI National Volunteer Scholarship. As a Board Member of the Georgia Center for the Book, I helped create the inaugural "25 Books All Young Georgians Should Read" list. I speak regularly at schools, conferences, festivals, and events, and teach "Creating Picture Books" at various venues. I also taught Beginning and Advanced Illustration as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Georgia and will help teach Picture Book Design in the Hollins University Children's Book Illustration Certificate Program this summer. My "Coloring Page Tuesdays" images garner over 1.5 million visitors to my website each year and I have over 3,000 subscribers to my weekly newsletter. Visit www.dulemba.com to join in!
