Bio:

Author/illustrator who has done commissioned art for many corporations, such as, The McDonald’s Corporation, Bristol Myers-Squibb, US Airways and numerous individuals in the Mid-Atlantic Region. You can find her art in many galleries across the Northeast.

She is the Regional Advisor for the New Jersey Chapter of the SCBWI. Kathy’s new activity book titled “Horseplay,” teaches children the importance of the horse throughout history, while making the learning experience fun.

Her illustrations and writing appear regularly in Sprouts Magazine, Highlights for Children Magazine, Boys’ Quest Magazine, Fun for Kidz Magazine, Guidepost for Kids, Hullabaloo Magazine, Ocean County Magazine, the Philadelphia Inquirer and Deacon Magazine.

The Graphic Artists Guild used Kathy’s “Babes on Beach” on one of their calendars. She teaches Photoshop, Children's Writing, and conducts "How to Market Yourself" workshops and the Highlights for Children Foundation "Life in the Spotlight" workshop with Peter Jacoby.

As owner of Temean Consulting, she uses her art and design skills to develop creative websites for many artisits, writers, entertainers and businesses. Current clients include Newbery Award Winner Jerry Spinelli and his talent wife Eileen Spinelli, David L Harrison, Amalia Hofman, Kat Lindsey, Cathleen Daniels, CarolAnn Williams, Eveylne Johnson Associates, The Best Book Bin and the Young Authors and Artists Group.
She is editor-in-chief of Sprouts Magazine and has a Daily Children's Writing and Illustrating Blog.

Degrees: BA in Art, BA in Education and MBA in Marketing.
