Bio:

Barb Bjornson, based in St. Paul, MN, is a freelance artist and illustrator who loves to create paintings and illustrations with that magic touch.  Her studio is filled with her many friends of dolls and stuffed animals, who have wonderful stories to tell if one is only quiet enough to hear them. Barb believes there is life and personality in everything. When she draws ands paints with pastels, she can see the image move and the personality becomes real and alive. “What is so wonderful about creating is that it is already alive in your imagination. Drawing and painting brings it to reality, resulting in pure magic. 

Barb illustrated her first book called “Hope So Too” in 2004 for Tristan Publishing. Her second book, “A Grandma Like Yours/A Grandpa Like Yours” is a flip book, published in 2005 by Lerner/Kar-Ben Publishing in Minneapolis, MN. She also illustrated a Christmas book called “Feliz Navidad” in 2006 by Teach Me Tapes in Minnetonka, MN.
She just completed a book for Lerner/Kar-Ben Publishing called “When It’s Purim”,releasd in spring of 2009.
