Bio:
Specializing in Illustrating people and Flash Animation, Annette Frei has created award winning art for products by Fisher Price and LeapFrog.
From 1992-2001, she illustrated and animated for MediaShare, Josten’s Learning, and Compass Learning. During this time Annette’s position included hiring and Art Directing over 20 Illustrators for multilevel interactive projects. She created the “look and feel” of edu-software products, did interface design, storyboarding, background and texture mapping for SCI Animation, animated children’s video storybooks, as well as completed Localization projects.
As a contract Illustrator/Flash Animator, Annette has worked extensively with BinaryLabs on large and small projects, including interactive games, character development, interface design and animation, game development featuring licenced characters, and adult e-learning programs. She was a main artist on “I Can Play Piano” game by Fisher Price, which won awards in 2007, and for “I Can Play Guitar”.
Annette has a bachelor’s degree in fine art from Boise State University, and studied art in Paris, France. She also does medical illustration, portraits, and business logo desgn work.
And in 2008, Annette took over as Webmaster for the SCBWI-AZ.org regional chapter.
