Bio:
Growing up, Varian Johnson couldn't decide whether he wanted to be an engineer or a writer, so he decided to do both. His first novel for teens, My Life as a Rhombus, was published by Llewellyn’s Flux Imprint in 2008, and has since been selected for the 2009 TLA Tayshas List, the 2009 New York Public Library’s “Stuff for the Teen Age” list, and was a finalist for the Texas Institute of Letters Award for Best Young Adult Book. His next novel, Saving Maddie, will be published by Delacorte Press in March, 2010.
