Bio:

Anna Ciddor’s first career was as a senior school maths teacher, but when she got married and had children she decided to have a go at getting a book published. She has now written and illustrated 54 books on topics as diverse as Vikings, Irish druids, Australian history, travel, and toilets. She is best known for her popular and highly acclaimed Viking Magic trilogy: RUNESTONE, WOLFSPELL and STORMRIDERS. These fantasy adventures are set in the thoroughly researched world of Viking lifestyle and beliefs. They have all been shortlisted on various children’s choice book awards, and RUNESTONE was chosen as a Children’s Book Council of Australia Notable Book. Anna is currently working on a YA book set in France during the First World War, which is based on a true story.
