Kate Dopirak enjoys movie theater popcorn almost as much as she loves writing for kids.

Kate taught second, fifth, and sixth grade students before resigning to be a stay-at-home mom. She is certified K-12 and is a Reading Specialist.

Kate lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with her husband and two sons.
