Bio:

I am hard at work fine-tuning my first middle-grade novel, Bone Girl. For me, a great book is about the people who live in it. So when my characters talk, I eavesdrop and write down what they say. I love children's literature because for kids, it's all about the story. My three favorite words: what happens next.

In addition to Bone Girl, I have written several picture-book mansucripts. My two favorites are The Wandering Cow and In Daddy's Chair. Lastly, meet Wallace Liptish, the warthog turned butler who watches over the three Mott children in my chapter book, Introducing Wallace Liptish. His brownie recipe is the BEST!
