Bio:

Brought up in Great Britain, she went to Hornsey College of Art, London, to do Graphic Design (editorial) and then travelled quite a lot working for a number of publishers in different countries, designing books and book covers, taking on the art direction for some collections and above all, illustrating. In Argentina she taught briefly at the Escuela Panamericana de Arte of Buenos Aires, where she was in charge of the subject “Illustration in Graphic Design”. Twenty years of village life near Segovia, Spain, led to an obsession with realistic watercolour ...and a number of books...
Since moving to Madrid, she has focused more on children’s storybooks and is able to take an active interest in professional associations; the Association of Professional Illustrators of Madrid, APIM, and now SCBWI.
