Bio:

A former regional advisor for SCBWI Western Washington and SCBWI Member of the Year for 2009, Sara Easterly is both a children’s author and an author publicist.

Her first book, LIGHTS, CAMERA, FASHION! (becker&mayer!/Chronicle), illustrated by Jaime Temairik, won a 2007 Parents’ Choice Silver Honor, among other awards. Sara holds a journalism degree from Colorado State University, as well as a writing certificate from the University of Washington, UW Extension.

As principal and creative director of Sara Easterly & Friends, she handles publicity for authors such as 2007 Newbery Honor Medalist Kirby Larson and New York Times bestselling author and 2009 Golden Kite winner Bonny Becker. She also handles PR for readergirlz and book publisher Wizards of the Coast, supporting New York Times bestselling authors
R.A. Salvatore, Margaret Weis, and Tracy Hickman.
