Bio:

Jan Cornebise is a former literacy teacher who writes and illustrates stories and poems for children. She enjoys travel, reading, gardening, and hanging out with her grandchildren. She has a master’s degree in elementary education from the University of North Carolina. A member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and illustrators, she has published in Turtle and the online Fandangle and Stories for Children magazines. She lives in Colorado with her historian husband.
