Bio:

The wife of a fireman and mother of four, Lori Nawyn is an author/illustrator who lives in Utah. Her award winning articles, essays, and short stories have appeared in regional and national print publications including Segullah, The SCBWI Bulletin, Outside Bozeman, and the Deseret News.

She is the illustrator of the award-winning motivational picture book What Are You Thinking? which was released July 2010 by ThoughtsAlive Publishing. Most recently she illustrated Love, Hugs, and Hope: When Scary Things Happen, which will be published by Familius in January 2013.

Her first novel, My Gift to You, was published in October 2010 by Covenant Communications. Her upcoming book for women, A Year's Journey, will be released fall 2013. Flight Plan, an inspirational book for women and girls, will be released in March of 2014. As a physical and emotional abuse survivor, it is her goal to continue to pursue publication as she endeavors to help others find their own inner strengths. When she's not training her dogs to mush, she enjoys running, Zumba, and trying out new recipes for French fries.
