Bio:

I write and illustrate picture books and children's fiction. My second picture book, The QUIET WOMAN And The NOISY DOG (illustrated by Ailie Busby) is published by Andersen Press. It featured on BBC Children's TV, read by Gina McKee. I wrote and illustrated my first book, HIC! published by Bodley Head and I'm in the process of writing and illustrating my next picture book.

I had ambitions to be an actor and earned my Equity card writing and performing with comedy duo Three Go Dutch. My first acting job was with OILY CART (One of the UK's leading children's theatre companies) where I trained as a puppeteer. I went on to work in children's TV as a writer and puppeteer. I have written scripts for the BBC 'Cbeebies' programme, TIKKABILLA and have recorded over a hundred programmes as the voice and operator of the puppet dragon, TAMBA. At the same time, HIC! became a featured story on Tikkabilla.
