Bio:

My poems and stories have been published in several literary reviews, newspapers, magazines, and anthologies including Highlights for Children, Stories for Children, Bitter Oleander, Anderbo, flashquake, Houston Literary Review, Pear Noir, Poesia, and Chicken Soup for the Child’s Soul (HCI 2007). In 2008, I was a nominee for Best of the Net and won honorable mention in Robert Brewer’s Writer’s Digest Poetic Asides Chapbook Contest. My chapbook—Pacing the Moon—was released by Flutter Press in 2009. I won the Whidbey Students’ Choice Contest for June 2010. My debut middle grade undersea adventure book - THE TIDE CHANGERS (Penumbra Publishing) - was published at the end of 2011.
