Bio:

Hello. I'm Juliet Clare Bell, known as Clare, and my first picture book is now out: Don't Panic, Annika! (illustrated by Jennifer E Morris and published by Piccadilly Press in the UK; Koala Books in Australia, and by de Vries Brouwers in the Netherlands as Geen Paniek, Anniek!).

My second picture book, The Kite Princess, will be out in Spring, 2012 in the UK and US, published by Barefoot Books.

I co-ordinate the Central West region of the British Isles chapter along with fellow SCBWIer, Donna Vann, and I run the local SCBWI critique group and critique-niques in the area. I also oversee the Friday night critique sessions at the British Isles' Annual Writers' and Illustrators' Conference.

When not on the floor doing jigsaws or reading books with my children, I can be found writing picture books or doing school, festival and library visits.
