Bio:

For a long, long time, I only read children's books. Now I like to write them.
I have been a public relations person, a journalist, and a diary-keeper for years. I have both a B.A. and an M.A. in English from the University of Maryland, College Park. I wrote my thesis about the plays of J.M. Barrie. Which makes sense, because his Peter Pan is one of my favorite characters ever. He never wanted to grow up. And neither have I.
