Born in New Jersy but lived since the age of 8 in southern California (except for some years in Arizona and Scotland). MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Arizona. MLIS from San Jose State. Work as a children's librarian in Santa Monica, with interests in music, puppetry, and storytelling, among other things. Currently living with a California Alligator Lizard, who moved in last year and likes it here too much to leave....
