Bio:
A voracious reader from childhood, my first story effort drew a "Why so morbid?" comment from a college professor. It wasn't until the last of my four sons left for college that I turned for solace to writing for children. The acceptance by a magazine editor of my first and many later attempts began what has been a long and happy experience. That editor, now Editor in Chief of a highly rated magazine for children, understandably remains my favorite editor in the whole world.
More than two hundred of my stories, poems and puzzles have been accepted by a total of thirty children's magazines. Some are also published in educational projects. Except for the fact my computer remains much smarter than I, my journey from empty nest to embracing millions of children has been a joyous one. I recommend my prescription to all others who need to get a little laughter and excitement back in their lives!
