Bio:

I am originally from England and have been an elementary teacher for many years, having taught in England, Canada, and the Los Angeles area. I was first published in 1998 - seven books that year! All were non fiction and six of them reflected my addition to traveling -150 countries so far and counting! Sooner or later, many of my travel experiences have become articles in Cobblestone's FACES magazine. I have seven additional books in print. Possibly the best known is LEO POLITI, ARTIST OF THE ANGELS. Leo wrote and illustrated 20 books for children and five for adults, all set in Los Angeles or elsewhere in California. The Getty has just published the first four reprints of his much-loved books. Since I have a passion for picture books, having the FLORES FAMILY CAFE published this year was a dream come true. I hope that it is the first of many picture books to come.
