Bio:

Yasmin John-Thorpe is a children's author, mentor to young writers and organizer of - Raise a Reader, South Okanagan, the British Columbia Youth Write Camp, Editor of Gems of the Okanagan Anthology and Gems of British Columbia Anthology.
She hosts writing workshop at the Okanagan College, Penticton BC Campus for writers of any age.
Yasmin cofounded Penticton Writers and Publishers in 1994 - www.penwriters.com
Yasmin is married for 37 years to her husband. She is a mother and grandmother, mentoring her seven year old grandson and working with him to self- publish his creative stories for 5 - 8 year old readers.
Yasmin lives and writes from her home overlooking Skaha Lake, in Penticton British Columbia.
