Bio:

I grew up in Springfield, Missouri and now live in Annandale, Virginia with my husband and Airedale terrier, Scarlett. American History is one of my passions. I graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a degree in American Studies.

I enjoy writing about the children from our country's past. My goal is to make a small moment in history come alive. Hopefully, my books will encourage young readers to venture out on their own to become enthusiastic history explorers.
