Bio:

Drawing and painting have always been among the most important things to me. My love of color and pattern blossomed from being surrounded by the bright, vibrant colors of decorative fabrics and tropical vegetation of my childhood home in the Ivory Coast- West Africa. After attending the Rhode Island School of Design, I graduated with a B.F.A. in Illustration in 2006. I now live in Albany, NY, where I explore a multicultural world through painting, beading, sewing, and collage.

My first two picture books will be published in Fall 2011.
