Bio:

I began my writing career at age five, when my parents found me writing all over my little brother! When they asked me what I was doing, I said, "Timmy thought he was a piece of paper." I guess my stories started early.

To Timmy's relief, I now use a computer to write. Along with writing stories for children, I also teach writing and speech at Western Technical College in Wisconsin. Since reading and writing are two of my favorite things, I feel blessed to work with student writers and to do some writing of my own. I like to write contemporary fiction, historical fiction, and non-fiction.

I live in Wisconsin with my husband, Chris, and our three children. My work has appeared in Pockets, Knowonder, and Stories for Children. My first picture book, Little Isaac's BIG Adventure, is scheduled for publication in 2011 through Guardian Angel Publishing.
