I've been writing stories since 2nd grade. Over the years, I've attended various writing conferences and read voraciously.
In 2005, 2 weeks before my wedding, the stars aligned and I started writing my YA novel. I managed to get through 7 chapters in those 2 pre-wedding weeks. I actually thought to myself, "I bet I could finish this thing if I didn't have to go on my honeymoon."
Five years and two children later, I finally finished this thing. It's still looking for a home.
My picture book manuscript, PAJAMA GIRL, won the grand prize in the 2010 MeeGenius book contest. It has been published through MeeGenius.com as an e-book. A sequel, PAJAMA GIRL MEETS BLANKET was published in Sept. 2012. LITTLE OLD WOMAN'S ALPHABET ADVENTURE was published Jan. 2013. More to come!
