“Newt’s World: Beginnings” Author

Susan L. Womble's Newt's World Beginnings won the recent Gold Medal in children's literature for the Florida Book Awards and the book was recently added to the Just Read Florida recommended reading list for grades 6-8. Susan has recently published the second book in the Newt’s World series: “Newt’s World: Internal Byte,” 2009. Both "Newt's World Beginnings" and "Internal Byte" have accompanying workbooks with both teacher and student editions. These workbooks are teacher friendly and benchmark aligned. She is hard at work on the third in the series "Newt's World Ultimate Game." She is a National Board Certified teacher with a career of teaching K-12 in the areas of reading, special education, language arts, math, social studies, and the profoundly handicapped.
