Bio:

Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, has lived in Buenos Aires (Argentina), Caracas (Venezuela), Lima (Perú and now resides in Miami, Fl. She has three children.
Until now, she has had 28 books for children published for the trade market, plus 35 for the educational market. She is also a well known literary translator, and among the some 250 books for children she hasd translated, some of the most celebrated were those of Huevos verdes con jamón (Green Eggs and Ham, The Lorax, and Oh, cuán lejos llegarás, by Dr.Seuss. and Por qué Noé eligió la paloma, by Isaac Bashevis Singer.

She is a poet, and on her free time likes to travel, cook gourmet meals, listen to classic music and gardening.
