Born in Pennsylvania and educated in Tennessee. Long time resident of Black River, NY. Married to a Maine farmer for 48 wonderful years. Profession: Teacher/librarian. Now retired.

Have 32 published titles. Thirty are for children and young adults.

Currently working on several historical novels for middle graders as well as a biography of a twelve-year-old girl who aspires to run the Iditarod Race.
