Bio:

Bonny Becker is the author of a dozen books for children, including the best-selling"A Visitor for Bear" and the follow-up books, "A Birthday for Bear" and "A Bedtime for Bear." She is the recipient of the E.B. White Read Aloud Award and the SCBWI Golden Kite Award. She is an instructor for the Northwest Institute of Literary Arts and a frequent speaker on writing, including classic story structure, revising and the special art of picture book writing.

She also offers workshops to elementary age students which gives them a chance to meet the author and create their own picture books using templates specially developed by Bonny.
