Bio:

Kristine O’Connell George is the author of twelve picture books and poetry collections. Her poetry collections--for readers from toddlers to middle schoolers--have been honored with six national awards. She delights in sharing her poetry and discovering new ways to use poetry to strengthen children’s writing skills and ignite their creativity. Her popular poetry web site--chosen as an American Library Association Great Web Site for Kids-- includes audio, video, and free lesson plans.

Kristine's hobbies include photography, video, and dabbling in arts projects. She loves to garden, hike, and plays very bad golf and tennis.
