Bio:

I am nineteen years old, and I live in Boston, Massachusetts. I have written nine books. The five-book Reign of the Elements series, is a fantasy adventure story for ages 9 and up. All five books, The Fire Stone, The Water Stone, The Wind Stone, The Immortality Scroll, and The Final Alliance have been published.

I frequently speak at schools, libraries, and conferences around the country. I also do free skype chats with schools.

I chose to write fantasy stories because I love the genre and also because I believe that fantasy engages imaginations and inspires young people to read at an age when many kids stop reading.

I am passionate about literacy. When I was fourteen, I created a non-profit for children's literacy. I believes that the way to help children break the cycle of poverty and exploitation is through literacy. We have bought 25,000 new books for classrooms in high-need schools across the U.S., as well as built three schools in Africa and created a children’s literacy center in a women’s shelter in Colorado. Some of the proceeds from my book sales go toward literacy programs for children.
