Judy Bradbury taught reading from preschool through college for sixteen years before becoming a full-time author. Judy created the picture book series Christopher Counts! published by McGraw-Hill, which features embedded math in each story. She also developed a series of resource books on the how, the what, and the why of reading aloud to children. Children’s Book Corner: A Read-Aloud Resource with Tips, Techniques, and Plans for Teachers, Librarians, and Parents, published by Libraries Unlimited/ABC-CLIO, is comprised of four leveled volumes spanning Pre-K – Grade 6. Her upcoming release is titled The Read-Aloud Scaffold: Best Books to Enhance Content Area Curriculum. Judy also writes regularly for Children’s Writer and Writer's Guide. Judy presents workshops nationally on the topics of reading, writing, and the importance of reading aloud to children.
