Bio:

I'm an award-winning children’s author of more than 50 fiction and nonfiction books for children. I've worked as an elementary school teacher, curriculum specialist, curriculum author, editor, and author of children's books. I also have a graduate degree in family counseling.

I live in Santa Barbara, California, with my family and enjoy hiking, beach-combing, reading, playing Renaissance music with a local group, and doing volunteer work in the community.
