Bio:

My new book, BUG SHOTS: THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE BUGLY is now out from Holiday House. I am currently working on a book about ancient bristlecone pines. My research trips were made possible by the SCBWI Work in Progress Grant that I was awarded in 2010. Thank you SCBWI! I will keep you posted on the progress of this exciting work in progress.
