Kathy Duval is the author of TAKE ME TO YOUR BBQ, illustrated by Adam McCauley (Disney-Hyperion) and THE THREE BEARS' HALLOWEEN and THE THREE BEARS' CHRISTMAS, illustrated by Paul Meisel (Holiday House.) Selected as a Bank Street Book of the Year, THE THREE BEARS' CHRISTMAS received a starred review in Booklist was featured at the Texas Book Festival. Upcoming is A BEAR'S YEAR (Schwartz & Wade), the story of a year in the life of a bear and her cubs. Kathy’s poetry is included in the anthologies I INVITED A DRAGON TO DINNER AND OTHER POEMS TO MAKE YOU LAUGH OUT LOUD(Philomel) and LADYBUG, LADYBUG: AND OTHER FAVORITE POEMS (Cricket Magazine Group). A former teacher and art therapist, Kathy enjoys visiting schools to share her love of writing with children.
