Bio:

Judy Keim has loved books since the time she and her sister played "Librarian" as young girls. Living in a small town in upstate New York, reading became a way to experience the world in a way she couldn't do otherwise. Books were always present and information from the books was shared in general conversation, which is, perhaps, why she was drawn to the idea of writing stories early on. The beauty of the world--simply gazing at flowers or hearing the sound of ringing cow bells falling down the mountains in Switzerland--has given her joy. It is this idea of the magic of it all, the logic of it all, that she hopes comes through in her stories and touches the child in each of her readers, young and old. Presently she lives in Florida with her husband and Winston, their long-haired dachshund.
