Sallie Wolf

Bio:

Sallie Wolf is a writer and artist who lives and works in Oak Park, IL. She uses her training in Anthropology (Brown University, BA, 1972, Phi Beta Kappa) to take field notes on the world around her. She uses her art training, (The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, BFA, 1997) to translate those notes into projects that make sense of the data. She is the author of The Robin Makes a Laughing Sound: A Birder’s Journal, (Charlesbridge, Spring 2010), Truck Stuck, illustrated by Andy Robert Davies, (Charlesbridge, 2008), and Peter’s Trucks, illustrated by Cat Bowman Smith, (Albert Whiteman, 1992).
