Bio:

I have been writing for kids for twenty years. My books range from baby board books and novelty formats through upper-middle-grade fiction and non fiction. I have written numerous work-for-hire titles for different publishers and licensors (Random House, Spotlight, Nickelodeon, Sesame Street, Disney, etc etc) but am currently most interested in writing for the middle grade. My book, Poop Happened! A History of the World From the Bottom Up (Walker/Bloomsbury) will be out in the spring of 2010 and is about the history of toilets and sanitation. I'm currently working on another nonfiction book for upper middle grade, as well as a comic novel.
