Bio:

Kathleen Ernst is a novelist, educator, and social historian. She has published fourteen novels for children and young adults, poetry, essays, and nonfiction. She has also scripted children's instructional video programs for public television. Honors for her work include four Arthur Tofte Juvenile Fiction Awards, the Flora MacDonald Award, a WILLA Finalist Award, Edgar and Agatha Award nominations, and an Emmy Award.
