Marie Osburn Reid writes of adventures that run high in the land of the midnight sun. "Whispers To A Deaf Dog" takes place in an Alaska village with determined teenagers. "Climbing The Great Denali” is a novella based on her son’s climbs on Mt. McKinley. Published in 2009 is "Spirit Basket, Over 200 Years of Adventures in Alaska", a family’s experiences from 1745 to 2010. In 2011 this novel was edited and revised for e-book publication for Kindle and Nook. “Over Rainbows”, is a mystery set in the 1920’s when aviation was new to Alaska. The 49th state has been Marie’s home since statehood in 1959. Her three children were born and raised in Fairbanks and she considers it a great place to live with her husband Reford (Jeep) Reid, especially in summer!
