Pam

Bio:

A children's writer for twenty years, Pam's love affair with books began much longer ago than that, when she discovered the joy, comfort and answers to some of life's most puzzling questions tucked away on the shelves of the cool, damp basement library in her small hometown. After determining that Beverly Cleary had the best job in the world, she eventually set out on her own writing journey. Subsequently, Pam's middle-grade fiction, featuring everyday kids working through everyday problems, found its way onto the pages of numerous magazines, including Pockets, Children's Digest, Jack & Jill and My Friend. Her feature series, Timber Lake Road, appeared monthly in Pockets from 2002-2004. Today, Pam focuses on writing middle-grade novels, hoping that someday, kids will find joy, comfort and answers in her stories. She also works as an instructor for The Institute of Children's Literature and has served as Regional Advisor for SCBWI-Wisconsin since 2005.
