Bio:

I contribute narrative science and art-related biographical pieces to Cricket magazine. My stories for Cricket include “Emerging Butterflies: The Story of Maria Sibylla Merian” (April 2013), “Gathering Clouds: The Story of Luke Howard” (April 2011), and “Flying Balloons: The Story of the Montgolfier Brothers” (April 2008), which garnered SCBWI’s 2009 Magazine Merit Award for Nonfiction.

I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, and have handled public relations for pioneering sports anti-doping scientist Don Catlin, M.D., and his organizations. I live in Los Angeles.
