Bio:

Jerry Wermund (Ph.D.)has a long career as a geologist, working in government, industry and academia. He enjoyed a lifetime love of nature and enviroment during worldwide travels for job assignments, scientific meetings and personal recreation. On retirement from The University of Texas he began writing children's books about earth science. He has published four 48 page colored picture books for elementary school children, The titles are EARTHSCAPES Landforms Sculpted by Water, Wind and Ice, The World According to Rock. Focus on Minerals and SOIL More Than Just Dirt.
