Bio:

Johnette Downing is a multi-award winning author and musician presenting author visits and concerts for children, and keynotes and workshops for educators globally. Herten picture books and nine CDs for children have received twenty-one awards and she has performed in the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Central America, North America and the Caribbean. Dubbed "The Musical Ambassador for Children," Johnette is dedicated to celebrating childhood, cultural exchanges and fostering literacy with children through her music, books, poetry and programs.
