Bio:

I've studied and worked in the field of children's literature for a number of years. I was one of the first graduates of the Center for the Study of Children's Literature at Simmons College. I have worked as a children's bookseller, and have worked in publishing for Little, Brown and Co., and Boyds Mills Press. My published works include non-fiction, fiction and picture books. I have published with Boyds Mills Press, Houghton Mifflin Company and Simon&Schuster. I have spoken at an number of conferences and was the author in residence at an SCBWI conference in Galveston, Texas.
