Bio:

Katy Duffield writes both fiction and nonfiction for children and young adults and is the author of sixteen books including the picture book Farmer McPeepers and His Missing Milk Cows, an Arkansas Diamond Honor Book, a California Teacher’s Association Read Across America Featured Book, and a Wyoming Buckaroo Book Award nominee. Her latest nonfiction book, California History for Kids: Missions, Miners, and Moviemakers in the Golden State was released in 2012 from Chicago Review Press. Additionally, she has two new picture books forthcoming: Aliens Get the Sniffles, Too (Candlewick Press) and Loud Lula (Two Lions).
