Bio:

I'm a writer, illustrator and artist living in Vancouver, BC. I've written two books for adults: Fadimatu and Sleeping With the Insane. Fadimatu is about a school-girl in developing north-eastern Nigeria (near Numan, site of recent years of religious turmoil). Fadimatu speaks out against the Emir's ruling to stone all prostitutes as sinners who have kept God from bringing rain. She goes on to rebel against her forced marriage.
Sleeping With the Insane is a collection of adult stories. Bonjour Minuit is a novel I wrote in French, and illustrated, about divorce/loss for the French Immersion market.

These days I'm developing my painting and illustration skills and career.
