Bio:

Bonnie is the illustrator of Bedtime Monster (¡A dormir, pequeño monstruo!), by Heather Ayris Burnell (Raven Tree Press, 2010), as well as the "I Wish" series of bilingual picture books from Raven Tree: I Wish I Had Glasses Like Rosa (Quisiera tener lentes como Rosa), a Kansas Reading Circle Commission Best Book for Children, and I Wish I Had Freckles Like Abby (Quisiera tener pecas como Abby), a Society of School Librarians International Honor Book, published in 2007; and I Wish I Was Tall Like Willie (Quisiera ser tan alto como Willie), a Book Sense Summer Children's Book List pick, and I Wish I Was Strong Like Manuel (Quisiera ser fuerte como Manuel), published in 2008.

Bonnie also contributed interior spot illustrations for the "Travels with Anna" series of picture books (Raven Tree Press, 2008); and illustrated a chapter book for Magination Press, Feeling Better: A Kid's Book About Therapy, published in 2005.

In addition to her illustration work, Bonnie is preparing a graphic novel for submission, and has a middle-grade novel, a chapter book and several picture books undergoing revision. She is represented by Marietta B. Zacker of the Nancy Gallt Literary Agency.

Bonnie is Assistant Regional Advisor and Illustrator Coordinator for the Carolinas region.
