Bio:

Barbara Nagelsmith was born in New York City. With a degree in Art Education from NYU she began her career teaching art in elementary schools. Always fascinated by all kinds of illustrated books she became a picture researcher working for publishing houses in New York, London and Paris where she now lives. For 23 years she was photo editor in the Paris Bureau of Time Magazine. Active in the photographic world she has written articles, edited photographic books, given workshops and has been curator of several photographic exhibitions.
Children’s books have always been one of her passions. “Selma, la drôle de vache” (Selma, the Curious Cow) is her first published book.
